The Night of the Chefs
La Notte degli Chef will be back on Thursday 23rd July: after last year's success, Made in Sicily's best Chefs will meet under the stars of Bagaria (PA). Born from an idea of Dario D’Angelo, chef of Nuove Colonne Restaurant, the Night of the Chefs is a food and wine event dedicated to Sicilian specialities, open to Chefs, restaurants, companies and local wineries, due to enhance traditional and innovative cuisine, and above all local products. Among them, "our" Chef Antonio Militello will also bring an unedited creation to this beautiful charity evening. Cibus 2018, here we are!
Cibus needs no introduction and Ristoris couldn't miss the opportunity to participate in the international food exhibition, which for years has been one of the most important food platforms for Made in Italy products. Its 19th edition promises to be truly special, to celebrate 2018, proclaimed "Year of Food" by the Italian Government. 

Ristoris will also be participating in this great festival of taste, involving all its visitors in a tantalising journey "around Italy". It will be an opportunity to get to know Italy's gastronomic heritage, as well as the essence of Ristoris' identity.

Master class: Lithuania and Latvia.
This was a week of training in North Europe, where Ristoris chefs were engaged in intense teaching sessions, focusing on the use of products and presenting the new specialities 2018. From 27th to 30th March, the customers and sales force of the Ristoris distributor for Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia attended an important full immersion session to learn all about the treatment and transformation of Ristoris raw materials.

Food & Drink Festival - Tirana
From 9th to 11th March the third edition of Food & Drink Festival took place in Tirana: with the motto “Eat. Drink. Educate.", the event managed to combine exhibitions, conferences, training courses, tastings and lots of entertainment for guests. Objective targeted and shared by Ristoris which, together with its distributors, has always promoted the culture of the product and of the culinary arts.

FIHAV 2017
Together with its distributor, Ristoris participated in the event FIHAV 2017, held in Havana, Cuba from 30 October to 3 November 2017. Here it previewed the new products destined for the Cuban market, obtaining great interest from visitors.

Our thanks for this successful event go to Emanuele Coda for the great work carried out to organize the event, to Vittorio Coda for his kind hospitality, to Omar Valdes for his professionalism and to Manolo Marrero for his constant commitment to promoting Ristoris on the island. LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO. 145 OF 15 SEPTEMBER 2017
FOOD LABELS: OBLIGATION TO INDICATE THE ADDRESS OF THE PRODUCTION PLANT IS REINTRODUCED
In order to guarantee correct and complete information to the Italian consumer and improve food traceability by control bodies, as from 5 April 2018, Legislative Decree no. 145 establishes that it is mandatory to indicate the address of the production plant on the label. This indication is not obligatory for food products pre-packed in conformity with the provisions of Regulation (EU) no. 1169/2011 legally manufactured or marketed in another EU member state.

Ristoris has always had the interest of its consumers on the subject of Food Safety at heart and for this reason it has chosen, ever since inception, to provide this indication clearly and transparently on its products.

ITALIAN COOKING LESSON IN SEOUL
Chef’s Food hosted Ristoris from 18 to 20 July for an intense cooking class session. The skills and creativity of Stefano Zambianchi and of Chef Cosimo Taddei gave life to unique recipes, in which Italian taste was merged with Asian influences.

Iternorga, an event dedicated to the catering and food service sector, was held in Hamburg from 17 to 21 March 2017.

Ristoris, in partnership with its distributor for the area, Pier7, was a leading player of a completely Italian offering: delicious hors d’oeuvres, stuffed vegetables, first and second courses. PARIS PIZZA CAPITAL
On 15 and 16 March 2017, the French capital welcomed the Made in Italy product par excellence: for two days at the “Parizza” show, the pizza was the star of a market in continuous growth.

Ristoris, in collaboration with one of the most important Horeca distributors in France, took part in the event with great success: the quality of products from the Special Pizza line was evident in all stages of preparation.

Introduction of Reg. EU no. 1169/2011
Nutrition declaration: mandatory as from 13 December 2016
With the introduction of Reg. EU no. 1169/2011, different aspects of rules on labelling food products were amended. As from the end of 2016, all food business operators marketing a product with their own name or business name will be obliged to add the nutrition declaration to the packaging or label. This regulation, the aim of which is to provide transparency and protect consumers, confirms a decision taken by Ristoris from the start, providing all information regarding nutrition on the label of products with its brand name.

Gusto Italiano has reached its fourth edition and once again this year offers a gastronomic journey through the finest Italian products.
